These plants are found throughout the tropics with separate subspecies found in different continents.
This hardy perennial has rounded surface leaves varying between 2-8 in (5-20 cm) across with a heart-shaped base.
The flowers are white with a deep yellow center and the petals have characteristic fringed margins.
Flowering colors: White, Yellow

Cultivation: Plant in soil with a water depth of 4-18 in (10-45 cm) in full or half-day sun.
The runners can spread to 6 ft (1.8 m), so allow room for development. Propagate by dividing the rootstock .
