
Valued for its glossy, bright green leaves, purple-whit e flowers and
flavorsome fruit.
It grows to 15 ft (4.5 m) and has white flowers that are green
beneath.
Train on a pergola or trellis and prune to prevent tangling as this
encourages insect infestation.
Pick fruit when the skin has turned purple and is still smooth, but
do not eat until the skin is wrinkled. This species is self-fertile.
