
This strong climber from tropical West Africa grows to 25 f t (8 m).
The olive green leaves have prominent veins and a red leaf stalk.
The flowers are white with a rosy purple tint and become yellow with
age; they are 2 in (5 cm) long enlarging into 1 1/2 in (35 mm)
lobes, but without tails.

Cultivation: These plants prefer a protected, part-shaded position
and fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.
