Found in Northern Brazil in low elevation, hot and humid, marshes and tropical forests as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with smooth, bright green pseudobulbs carrying broad, spreading, condiplicate below into the base leaf that blooms in the summer on a curved, flexuous, terete, to 12" + [30 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence arising on a newly matured pseudobulb and having several, evenly spaced, pale green bracts along its length .
