Found in Sulawesi and the Philippines on the island of Luzon in montane forests at elevations around 300 to 2750 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing semi-terrestrial without pseudobulbs, but has pale green, 8 to 10, clustered, slightly leathery, curved, linear, basally grooved, acute apically leaves that blooms on a racemose, erect, few flowered, 7.6 to 8" [19 to 20 cm] long inflorescence and carries to 10, slightly fragrant flowers
