Endemic to Luzon Island, The Philippines on open ground at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters in montane forests as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with slender, cane-loke stems carrying many, linear leaves are held in 2 rows and blooms on a short, few [5] flowered inflorescence that arise from the tip and along the stem of leafless canes occuring at most any time of the year. Plants should dry out between waterings in the winter months and resumed with the onset of new growth in the spring.
