Common Name Howard's Encyclia [American Plant Taxomonist mid 1900's]

Flower Size 1.8" [4.5 cm]

Found in Oriente state, Cuba in dense tropical forests as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte and has large leaves and large sparesely flowered panicles of flowers smelling of vanilla occuring in the summer and early fall.
