Common Name Pollard's Encyclia [Mexican Orchid Enthusiast 20th cen]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Mexico in the states of Nayarit, Jalisco and Michoacan at elevations of 1400 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with large pseudobulbs carrying 2 ot 3 apical leaves and blooms on a paniculate, 2' [60 cm] long inflorescence occuring in the spring.
