Common Name or Meaning The Hairy Oncidium

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Para' State Brazil and Bolivia in hot lowlands around 400 meters in elevation as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with ovate, laterally compressed, ancipitous, longitudinally grooved pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several, imbricating, leafless sheaths and carrying a single, erect, acute, narrowly conduplicate below into the petiole-like base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, erect, 5" [12.5 cm] long, paniculate inflorescence that arises on a newly matured pseudobulb and has fractiflex branches all held towards the apex.
