A larger sized, green-leafed, multiflowered, hot growing terrestrial orchid from Sarawak, Borneo on limestone hills and cliffs at sea level to 500 meters in elevation with to 5, strap-shaped, leathery, glossy green leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, dull greenish purple, pubescent, 2'4" [70 cm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence that has lanceolate bracts that cover 1/2 of the ovary.
