Common Name The Phalaenopsis with a pouch-like swelling

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

This epiphytic, hot to warm growing species is found in Laos, and Vietnam in broadleafed, evergreen, lowland forests at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters where it blooms on a 6" [15 cm] long, branched, somewhat zigzag, several [8 to 10] flowered inflorescence occuring in the early spring.
