
Native to the tropics of Africa, this vigorous annual or perennial
(in frost-free areas) climber grows quickly to 10 ft (3 m). Its deep
green, cordate leaves grow to 3 in (8 cm) long. It bears masses of 2
in (5 cm) wide orange flowers with black throats
